Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the dot. application or any related services (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Who we are

The Platform is operated by Delivery On Time (Private) Limited, registered in Zimbabwe. Contact us at contact@deliveryontime.co.zw.

3. User accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. We may suspend accounts with false information.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Zimbabwean law.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Submit false orders, reviews, or reports.
• Use automated tools or bots without our written consent.
• Engage in conduct that disrupts or damages the Platform or its users.

5. Orders and delivery

dot. is a technology platform connecting customers with merchants and independent couriers. We are not a party to the contract between a customer and a merchant, nor between a customer and a courier.

Merchants are responsible for product accuracy, pricing, and preparation. Couriers are independent contractors responsible for completing accepted deliveries. dot. facilitates matching and payment but does not guarantee any specific delivery time, product quality, or outcome.

6. Payments and fees

All prices are in United States Dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment must be completed via the methods available in the app at time of order.

Merchants are charged a commission on completed orders at the rate in their merchant agreement. Couriers earn per delivery as shown in the courier portal, with payouts processed upon request subject to minimum thresholds and verification.

7. Merchant obligations

• Maintain accurate menus, prices, and availability at all times.
• Prepare orders within the stated preparation time.
• Comply with all food safety, health, and business licensing requirements under Zimbabwean law.
• Not list items that are illegal or restricted under Zimbabwean law.

8. Courier obligations

• Only accept deliveries you intend to complete.
• Handle all items with reasonable care.
• Maintain valid identification and any required licences for your mode of transport.
• Behave professionally towards customers, merchants, and dot. staff.
• Not misrepresent your location or delivery status.

9. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Platform are the property of Delivery On Time (Private) Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, dot. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed fees paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms or at our discretion. You may delete your account by contacting contact@deliveryontime.co.zw.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
